Avid speakers - any opinions?

Just bought a pair of Avid 100 speakers. Haven't picked them up yet. Any opinions on them?
Would love to hear from anyone who had any experience with them.

Anyway, I can't speak for the 100's,( but there are people here who love the 100's).

I have a pair of the 101's, and for the money I paid I rate them highly on the BFYB!!

I bought a pair of AVID 100 speakers at a yard sale a few years ago, for $20.
I really enjoy them.....a lot!
Enjoyed them enough, that they replaced a pair of very good Genesis 1+ speakers.
BTW: They are VERY easy and cheap to recap......only one capacitor per speaker.

I have a pair of the 100s, picked up for 7.96 at GW.Great sounding,love the fact they have rubber surrounds.I like the looks of grill also.
