Azden YM-P50C Stylus ?

I hope everyone is healthy and keeping themselves busy. I have a Pioneer PL-530 that I have restored. It came with an Azden YM-P50C without a stylus that I put away as I have a brand new AT-VM95E that I have been using. It sounds really nice but I have been reading up on the Azden. From what I can find and have read it should be the better cart. I did a search and did find some info on it but wonder if there are any affordable Styli for this cartridge? $200 plus stylus are just out of my budget. Any suggestions you guys may have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

EVG PM2486DE is a stylus that should work. It should be researched a bit more unless someone else knows for sure.

Edit - Any 245-DE should work. TTN has one for $31.

Bill,

Thanks. It was in really nice shape but the black vinyl just made it look cheap. It was a lot of “work” but worth it. I say worm but as a woodworking hobbyist it really wasn’t lol.

So I actually ended up finding a NOS Pfanstiehl 245-DE for $20. This is an OEM from Empire Scientific Corp. and is the blue plastic with the 0.3 x 0.7 elliptical diamond sold by Pfanstiehl. All I have to say is WOW what a difference. This blew my Clearaudio Concept MM out of the water. Now my search continues for an original red VL stylus...
