B-2101 repair project.

The parts arrived from Digikey. It's going to be awhile before I get to the soldering iron.

Tell me; how should I set the values on the Bourns before I install them ?

Should I measure the resistance on each leg of the VR's in my left channel ?

That's the channel that didn't blow a Sanken.

They are factory set at half track resistance when you receive them, that's good enough for most things.

You can do, I guess with the idea of setting the Bourns replacements to the same resistance? - not a bad idea providing you read across the correct legs on the replacement trimmer when setting the resistance. ;)

Remember EVERY major change you make, whether it be 'parts' or 'wiring' or whatever, should trigger the use of the DBT for the first power-up after each of these activities. :thumbsup:

Hi, my name is Antonio, and it's a pleasure to be here with you. I am a possessor of this beautiful sansui b2101 ending and for 1 year it has been driving me crazy. After having completely recovered the 4 upa68ha jumped and the two 2sc2291 CH were skipped and remained in protection, after replacing them all the adjustment steps are at a dead point on step 5 to 8 on the bias adjustment of the final transit cards, someone has an idea because I always read 0mv. Thanks for the future help.
 
My B-2101 project is setting on the bench...exactly like i left it in this thread a year ago.

I'm not understanding the Frog8089 problem. i still don't know how i shorted my output.

Plan on getting back to this project, but life keeps happening.
