The "zero" feedback "beatle_fred" bidder is none other than the infamous Henry Louis.......recently of the now cancelled auctions for the AU-X11 and audiophase equipment. He's pissed because our illustrious former Moderator ratted him out, and got him once again kicked off Ebay.........and thus is now attempting to besmirch the "beatlefred" nom-de-plum.........by overbidding him on auctions AND offering equipment for sale on Audiogon using his "new" Beatle_fred moniker!! :nono:

Just be sure your watching/dealing with the real thing folks........Coke, not Pepsi! :thmbsp:

No...........Beatlefred the former moderator hasn't changed his Ebay handle AT ALL!

If you look at the registration date for "Beatle_freddy".......you can start to see a pattern. As fast as he gets kicked off Ebay under one name, he just creates a new one and is back! :nono:

Unfortunately, you're mistaken on that bully. All you have to do to confirm this is look at the auction that started this thread.

"beatlefred" with a feedback of 353 has been registered on Ebay since Sep 16, 1999. THAT is BF's Ebay handle.........and always has been.

The other variations are either someone else.....or currently and in the recent past someone attempting to impersonate BF.

I meet BF first in the old AR vintage forum, in fact BF was the first person to respond to my very first posting on that site. We all liked BF a lot but the guy had the magic to attract high drama around him, sometimes of this own making and sometimes not. He does that a good heart but damn the drama can wear one down at times

Heck, I don't even know the details around his leaving the AK site, and if history being true to form. I most likely don't even care, just hope BF is ok and still enjoying Sansui stuff. Seems I saw him posting on the AA site recently.

Ok........latest correction, we're BOTH right bully!!

There was a period when BF DID use "beatlefreddy", however he later retired that name and combined the feedback with his past AND present handle of just plain old "beatlefred".

So, anything other than "beatlefred" at present is suspect! And, he's alive and well.....hanging out at the forums of www.sansui.us

Us Sansui guys just have to hang together.....otherwise we'll certainly be killed off or go deaf individually! :thmbsp:
