B&K AVR 507 S1 vs Outlaw 990

Looking at downsizing my HT and then upgrading my 2 channel. Currently using Outlaw 990 Pre/Pro with B&K amps. Then just ran across a B&K AVR 507 (Series 1) for a reasonable price.

The B&K has 150 wpc, and an excellent rep. The Series 1 had some issues, and B&K is out of business. The B&K engineering team is still functioning under a different name, though the 60 lb unit would have to go east if there is ever a need for service.

The B&K could always be used in the bedroom, however there's no problem with the bedroom system.

Anyone have experience with both the B&K and the Outlaw?

FWIW, I did pick up the AVR 507. Great deal, couldn't resist (addict). This is one nice receiver, sounds great with plenty of power. It has Dolby PLII, not PLIIx but since I will likely only use it in 5.1 that won't matter.

Of course, A/B'ing with the Outlaw will mean quite a bit of shuffling, and that will take some time and motivation to get it all connected up.

Anyone know if the 507's pre/pro section is the same as the Reference 50?
