B&K PT3 Preamplifier Screen Lights

Hello,

I'm the proud owner of both the B&K PT3 and PT5 preamplifiers. My PT3 has a screen whose screen lights are needing an eventual replacement. The lights work now, but they are dimming to the point of needing replacement. No, this has nothing to do with the dim setting or power getting to the unit.

Is this an easy bulb replacement, by opening up the case and getting to the internals? Or is it a complete assembly replacement? I assume this might be similar to other preamps/amps/receivers with LCD screens.

I wanted to check here first before I start tearing it apart.

The PT3 has a fluorescent display and sadly, they get dim over time. I am searching for a solution for a friend who has the same preamp. If I find a supplier of the display, I will let you know. You have to solder/unsolder the whole thing.
