B&K--tell me how you like it!

I have a nice little B&K rig, wich consists of ST2140 power amp, PT3 pre-amp, its a solid 140 watts per channel into 8 ohms, have it hooked to a yamaha cdc 765 cdp, going thru monster Z3 speaker cable to a pair of definitive technology bp10b, this system sounds remarkabel on all sorts of music--especially jazz, and the build quality is awsome on B&K products, anyway i was wondering if there are others who own and enjoy B&K products as i do, and if so tell us how you like it. :music: the bird

I've had a lowly ST140 for almost 20 years paired with a Pro 10MC preamp. B&K is nice stuff that seems to fly a bit under the radar.

I have a ST-125.1 single channel amplifier. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a second one to make up a stereo pair, so it sits unused. Anyone have one they would like to sell?

I have an EX442 power amp and MC101 preamp that I bought new in the early 90's. They've been great performers for years, but are resting at the moment as I have an all 70s vintage main audio system and a newer HT system in regular use.

I need another set of speakers to put the B&K back into play.

I own a B&K ST-140 amp and B&K Pro 5 preamp, that I bought new in October of 1988.
100% trouble-free operation with very good sound.

Tried for a while to get my hands on a MC101 preamp but no avail.

I do own an ST-202 and an ST-202+, as well as an EX-442 Sonata.

Effectively stopped my wandering eye. Run everything from a pair of Dahlquists to Thiels to ARs to a/d/s/ to Vandersteens off 'em.

I'm a big fan.

My son-in-law gave me a Reference 4430 3-channel a couple of years ago that I run as a two channel amp. Lots of power and great sound.

The Sonata MC-101 sure was a surprise to me. Got it in a whole system deal. I got Vandersteen 2ci's, B&K ST-202, the pre and a Denon CD player. I am afraid only the Sonata is a keeper and the rest are out classed by other SS gear I have.

It is pretty darn good.

I've used my ST2140 with several pre-amps and speakers, over the last 7 years.
I do like it.
Nice clean sound with ample headroom and a great build quality.
It's definately a "go to" amp that will remain in my collection for a while.

I owned an ST2140 for 3 or 4 years. It is a phenomenal little amp with lots of power, a sweet warm sound, and a nice large soundstage. I got married and my stack of components did not get approved by my spouse, so I sold it in favor of a smaller, integrated amp. It is one of the few components I have sold that I miss...
