Hi everyone - was hoping to get some help regarding a tweeter issue with my B&W speakers. I'm using a pair of B&W 686 (series 1) bookshelf speakers.
I heard something rattling inside the speaker and opened it up to investigate. It looks like the small plastic cone that is attached to the back of the tweeter has broken off or come unglued (not sure how it was originally attached). The sound quality doesn't seem to be compromised (that I can tell).
Should I try and re-attach this piece? If so, how? Or should I just keep them aside / are they not necessary? Thank you!
