That's a little high for the Series 80, but seems like the going price IS between $700-$900 - the prices have been climbing back. If it's one owner, and in great shape, I think it's worth it. Just remember that there's a bunch of electrolytic capacitors on the crossover board and should be updated soon...

Agreed...I'm sure they have a feeling that $950's a little on the high side. An inspection is in order before price negotiation as the drivers are hard to come by, even on eBay. Also, the F version is more valuable (has the two dials in the back of the midrange housing.) I bought a pair on local CL awhile back, the F version, but then had to send two of the woofers out to Bill at Millersound in PA to clean out the voice coil gap (corrosion in there.) Well worth it though.
