B&W DM 620 - what to upgrade to?

Hi all,

I have a pair of b&W dm620's they're great but curious what is a worthy upgrade from these in b&w's family. I found a pair of DM 603 s2's but not sure if it's a notable upgrade.

I'm running them in a Luxman l-430.

Any advice would be appreciated

I haven't heard the 620's but at the moment I'm listening to a pair of 603 s3's pushed by an Eico 2050 and couldn't be happier.

I am a fan of the 600 series though (I have the 603's, 604's and 2 pairs of 601's).

I think the 603's are probably the most refined of the ones I have and also the easiest to drive (they sound very good with a 12wpc el84 amp).

I don't think you would be disappointed by the 603's.

I can get a set of DM 684 for $750 pickup, not sure if it's be worth the upgrade over the DM 620's. I'd also be curious on the resale value of the DM 620's.

Any advice guys?

Listen to them and then pick the ones that impress you the most.

I have the DM620i right now, but the DM684's are for sale. Just seeing if anyone has heard both and could recommend the switch or not a worthy ROI
