B&W dm600i worth it ?

i have a pair of celestion 5 in my second system and i just cant quite take to them, i dont know why, i just cant.

Im looking at some of these b&w as never used them before and fancy giving them a go, i dont fancy wasting my money if they are unlikely to be any better though.

Anyone any experience with these two ? Most likely i will be running them through a rotel ra-940bx amp.

I had a pair of DM620 for a while and really liked them. Great midrange with nice highs that were most definitely not harsh. The 600i seems to be earlier in the series with the same tweeter.
If they are in good condition and the tweeters are not smushed (seems to be a B&W thing to always have crushed tweeter domes) I'd say they are worth a listen.

I've had a few pairs, they're well worth £50.

Agreed that they're worth the money, but replacement tweeters are expensive and hard to come by, so make sure everything works properly before handing over your money.

I may keep the celestions, just sorted out the rotel amp and attached the speakers and they sound so much better than i remembered, maybe its just this pairing but the sound is amazing.

Will keep my eye out for some bargain b&w though
