B&W DM601 Score

I picked up these B&W DM601 for $25 at a thrift shop only to get home to find one of the contact plates that goes between the terminals one is missing. It's an easy fix with a flat piece of copper or something else. Question is what is the deal with it having 2pos and 2neg terminals on there? do I even need to bind them together?

Yes, you do, that's for biwiring. a very debatable topic. The top terminals are connected to the tweeter crossover and the bottom to the woofer crossover. Just connect them together and enjoy. And be very careful with those tweeters, they're easily dented and are no longer available from B&W.
 
They can be bi-amped - running different power to tweeters and woofers (or more accurately mid-range on these).

You can use regular speaker wire for jumpers. Some even think it sounds better than the brass plates.
