I have just one system, but set up with three sets of speakers in 3 differnt rooms. My "main room" has a pair of Jamo C 103 speakers, which I'm pretty satisfied with (and a SVS 12" sub), in another room I have the B&W DM601, and yet another I have the Klipsch RP 600M mkII speakers and those last two, though OK are kind of moving targets, meaning that they may not be keepers. In the room that I have Klipsch, I once had a set of Wharfedale Diamond 10.1, which I liked, but in my search for perfection, I ended up selling and and trying a few different things, with the latest being the Klipsch RP 600M mkII. I never had the Klipsch and the B&Ws at the same time as the Wharfedales though, so it isn't as if I was able to directly compare. Now I see a set of the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers on sale for really cheap and I'm wondering if it's worth picking these up to try, or if they will be easily beat by the aforementioned speakers (and that maybe I just has G.A.S. for cool audio gear)? The Klipsch speakers sound OK to me, but seem kind of thin in the middle, and also on the bottom, though I got a subwoofer for the room that they're in and now they at least sound OK. The B&W speakers are in a space that's far less than ideal, though consindering that, they sound pretty good, and even better considering I spent just $50 on them. I wonder though if it's woth considering these smaller Wharfedale speakers, that I remember being a bit more full sounding than the Klipsch and with punchier bass, but less refined treble..?
