i have an itch to try a b&w pair of speakers (have an outside pair and love them): would probably run them with my dynaco st 70. is there a floor stander (first choice) or a bookshelf that would match up well with tubes. my ss gear i run is a sony ta-n777es, yamaha c4 and polk lsi9's. my tube rig is the st 70, nak ca 7, and the ads l980's. was wondering how a pair of b&w's would compare to the ads. any thoughts/advice?

I think the Matrix 800 series would sound good on a ST70. I run Matrix 805s off a Fisher 500c, and they sound great.
