Wow! Beautiful speakers! How is the sound?
Thank you, Sgt. Pepsi. They sound great. I’ve been using the 683 S2 for eight years now and have really enjoyed them. The 702 S3 kicks everything up a notch or two. Our room is large and the 702 S3 fills it much better. They have fantastic clarity and great tone. The tweeter on top really opens up the soundstage. The 683 S2 has a nice soundstage too but the 702 S3 creates a bigger picture.
I think I’ll be staying up late tonight.

Grabbed up a pair of clean DM602 S2s last week. They were available locally for a good enough deal that I figured I could probably get my money back if I didn't like them.
Currently have them running off of a Kenwood 125 wpc power amp with a Marantz pre. Sounds really nice!

Hey man I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a mint pair of DM11 for $260. I have a bunch of great speakers already but am trying to figure out where these will fall in the order of what I already have. I just sold some mint Camber 3.0ti's. I have Jamo C603 which beat out my Dynaudio emit m10's in areas I'm not sure if these old B&W will be able to hold their own against these more modern bookshelf speakers. The Cambers did. They used Seas Titanium 3/4" tweeters and Vifa drivers cast aluminum frames etc etc. Built like tanks.I guess I'm just wondering if these would be a step sideways instead of better then the vintage stuff I've heard. Ive also had Signet SL280's, Clements Response ii floorstanders, EPI 140C's, EPI M60's, and Jamo 307a's. I would much appreciate the feedback. Thanks man. Oh I should mention I run 2 RSL Speedwoofer 10SMKII'S subs so they will be cut off probably around 60hz.

I'm thinking about trying to track one or two of those subs down to use alongside my DM602s. Have you had any issues with yours?
Recently I have been moving things around in my various systems and hooked the DM602s up to a Marantz 2215b and a Klipsch powered sub. It sounds really good but I want to "steal" that sub and move it to an all Klipsch surround sound gaming system I have in my basement.
Mostly I'm wondering about the reliability of the B&W powered subs and also if you have been able to get them to integrate with your speakers so they transition smoothly between bass, mids and treble.
one was free with a dead amp so they may have a problem with amps. i haven't had any. drop in replacement amps are(or were) available from parts express.
i had it acceptable but without a high pass crossover, it will never be as right as it could be.
i was debating on buying a mirage crossover. they aren't a lot of money and have high pass crossovers. find the right one and the freq are adjustable for highs and lows.

Well new member here but I figured I'd chime in too. I started in B&W back in the late 90s when I worked at a HiFi shop in NJ. I got a pair of 601 and eventually upgraded to the N805. Now being I was still at my parents home I went smaller but I wish I got the N803 as I still have the N805 today. The dealer accommodation back then was 50% off retail for employee purchase. I still kick myself today!
As to an amp started out on a Rotel amp which I do still have too. I used to swap into a Conrad Johnson Premier 11A tube amp when I wanted to. But sold that many years ago and regret today too. Today the speakers are boxed and will go into my office with a unknown system plan.
The Home Theater now is Monitor Audio Silver RX8 plus my B&W HTM2 and a set of Triad in-walls for surround and front height. Sub is a Monitor Audio GX-15. Current electronics are a Marantz Cinema 30 and a Oppo DVD still.

I have a pair of 703 S3s that have been idle for about 1 1/2 years, since I finished rebuilding my Quad ESL-63s. I'm about to rebuild the ESL-63s again, this time turning them into 989s housed in t-slot aluminum frames.
I have the frames for the 989s built up, so the next step is to build up 4 bass panels for the speakers, then it will be time to start transferring the ESL-63 panels and electronics into their new homes. I'll put the B&Ws back into service while I'm doing that.
