Now that was one hell of a flight from a B29... Something didn't look right about it though.. the engine cell sizes or spacing, or the body shape.. I just can't quite pinpoint it.. but something about the scale of something looked wrong..

BUT.. man... a true rocket RC.. and barrel rolls from a B29.. inverted flight.. ejecting crew... UNREAL... literally

It looks kind of cartoonish, the nacelles are much too large (possibly to fit strong enough engines within), the wings are a bit oddly shaped and too short (possibly to generate sufficient lift for the scaled down plane with greater weight), and the body is a bit bloated (possibly to house the ejecting pilots). Very cool to see the X-1 launch, but the rest along with unrealistic stunts for the plane really ruined the effect. Too gimmicky.

Still, both videos are great fun to watch, but I fear for that big one. You just know it cost a lot and some day it is going to crash as all model planes seem to.

Glad it wasn't just me thinking it didn't look right.. The first one looked really close to me.. once in the air, it appeared to be very realistic looking.. even the climb rate looked believable... I was wondering what kinda cash was into that plane.. and you know that was a hell of a lotta hours invested..

Amazing. And incredible skill flying that thing. The landing had me shaking in my seat, but they couldn't have done it any better. Incredible. Wish I had the time and money to play like that...

I have a feeling with a plane like that, time is more of the investment than the money.. I really would love to know how many hours are into that build.. not to mention all the flight time to be skilled enough to keep from trashing it..
