Baby Shower this afternoon..

Went to a Baby Shower for Shay, Bethany's sister. Lauriann fixed a BUNCH of food for it, meatballs & marinara sauce, veggie & fruit trays. Shay's due next month, its gonna be a little boy, her 2nd. Bethany & her husband, Corey, & son, Logan, were there. I'm SO proud of BOTH of those gals, Bethany & Shay... Don't seem anytime since I'd sling 'em over my shoulder & "Kidnap" 'em.. Now, they both have families of their own... Bethany & Corey dropped by the other day w/Logan, he's like 6 months old, & boy, did my Chihuahua, Gomez, take a Shine to him...Logan didn't quite know what to think of Gomez, but this time next year, he'll give Gomez a LOT of Lovin'..

Congrats Sandy! I have three Grandkids so far. There's nothing as pure as a childs love. :)

Well, they aren't REALLY my grandkids- I never had any kids. But Bethany & Shay were kinda the Daughters I never had, especially Bethany. What the 3 of us DIDN'T get into, it was just that we never thought about...Bethany was a FORCEFUL personality, & the world's biggest Tomboy...She'd call me, a 10, 11, 12 yr old kid, mind you-& pretty much DEMAND I come get her, & often, Shay, too-& take 'em to supper.. "Well, I kinda got sumpin' to do...Come get me, I'll HELP you..." How do you/CAN you argue w/THAT ?!? (grin)

Yeah, pretty much...Especially when they figgered out what a "Soft Touch' I was... But in all honesty, I can't say who got the better end of the deal.. Them or ME...
