These two guys are playing play chess on our breaks at work. So this has inspired me to start playing again. Well it been over two years since I last played. So I fired up the Chessmaster on my comp last night. And guess what? I suck, could barely beat the lowest level I set the program. Its going to take some time to get back to form. I don't dare play these guys till then, cause I look down on them and know they can't beat me, if they only knew.
I'v got the chess bible and number of other books I can read to brush up. I am going to take a different approach to the game this time and hopefully I can get past the 1600 rating barrier. There however isn't any clubs in our area, and all they play on the internet sites is speed chess which I detest, so Chessmasters going to have to do.

I was REALLY into Chess, well.., I still am actually. Ive got tons of Chess books & mags. Be careful, WW5, once you start getting absorbed in Chess, you'll find that it becomes very addictive. I just picked up the latest version of Chessmaster (10000). Its very strong, as just about all Chess programs are nowadays. One place I can recommend is the Chess site over at Yahoo (in the Games section). There are many levels of play & time control options there and lots of folks ready, willing, and able to play against you, so check it out sometime.

Regards,

B/F
