This wasn't through Barter Town, but I wanted to give Brian feedback anyway. I met Brian through fellow AKer DublinTrader (Walter). Walter had told me what a nice job Brian does on his speaker restorations.
I picked up a pair of ESS Model 8 at an estate sale. Surrounds were shot and the PRs were missing. I took them to Brian and he refoamed them, added the PRs and replaced the caps. I've done some surrounds in the past, but I'm a little sloppy and I wanted these to be perfect. All I can say is Wow!! I'm on my third album in a row and I might have a marathon starting here. Great sound separation, clear as a bell and punch in the gut bass. Thanks for the great work, Brian! :thmbsp:
