Balanced/XLR Cable Recommendations/Options

I have a Freya+ on the way and want to get some balanced cables for my DAC and for one of my amps (Yamaha p2700). Originally, I had planned on making my own cables but don't think I will have the time right now, especially not before the Freya+ gets here. I was expecting 4-6wk wait when I ordered it but it shipped in less than 8hrs after placing my order!

I'm not looking for esoteric/boutique options, just something that will get the job done and I will not regret purchasing... good quality but not marketing/snake oil/etc. Can someone recommend something that would be a good entry option?

I still want to build my own cables when I have more time and so I am also looking for bulk cable recommendations as well as connectors.

Amazon has Basic XLR to XLR or 1/4" balanced cables. Cheap..1 day delivery.

For 8 hour turn around, visit Guitar Center or similar.

Well, I have been working a lot of overtime recently to pay for some of these audio upgrades I have been making. I just made a full set of interconnects and it took most of my day off to complete.. I kind of just wanted to get something quickly so I could listen to the music until I had more time to make some cables on my own without cutting into my listening time. You may be right though and maybe I should use the interconnects I just made with the SE outputs until I figure out what materials I will use and how to make the XLR cables. Any bulk wire suggestions? I've heard Neutrik, Switchcraft, and Vampire as good options for connectors.

edit: I already have XLR to RCA adapters on the Yamaha p2700 and have been using it that way for awhile now. I really just wanted to be able to use my DAC using the balanced outputs as people say it makes a difference.
 
In a situation like this I usually opt for Mogami -or- Hosa and get them from Amazon -or- Guitar Center.
No doubt there are plenty of other good vendors for those brands as well (Sweetwater, B&H Photo et-al).
Of course that all assumes one is looking for a standard length cable (2' ~ 3' ~ 6' ~ etc. ~ etc.).

Build to order cables (custom) I recommend / use Redco Audio mostly.
They're able to build pretty much whatever you want.
