Banana plug to wire strand adapter?

Have speaker wire with banana plugs welded on that I need to plug into an old-style push button wire strand connector. If anyone knows where I can get an adapter that accomplishes that feat, I'd greatly appreciate it.

You could just cut off the banana plug and get a pin style plug. They are real easy to install.
 
How about some of these with some wire soldered on and covered in heatshrink tubing?

Yes! That's the way I did it. I used red and black shrink tube in e layers and removed the nuts first. I soldered them to a short length of speaker wire so that they worked as a pair. I made 4 if them. 2 had larger alligator clips on the other end (also shrink wrapped in 2 colors ) and the other 2 had pin terminals like you need. I can test many kinds of amps and speakers without having to hunt down a length of cable with the right ends or dealing with plain wire or tinned wire ends, strange connectors or posts with nuts.Very handy. All parts from Mauser.
I really like the converters shown in the amazon link but $20 tor 2 sets for a pair of speakers is out of my budget.

Thanks for the help guys!! This is for my main system so I think I may go the Amazon route, but nice to know I could do it myself. I don't want to cut the banana plugs off because the cables are from Blue Jeans Cable and the plugs are welded on.

The shipping is what kills the deal for me though it appears you missed this part:

Seems like an odd number though I suppose that it's a set for AV 5-channel use.
 
Hit the local Radio Shack. They used to have a set of gold plated pin connectors that are large enough to fit a banana plug. A little shrink tubing helped to feel a little safer from potential shorting.
 
Would it be more expensive than these options to just order the same wire unterminated from BJC? If you don't have very long runs, that seems like the better solution to me.
