She and her excellent band played a Blue Monday Concert tonight at a pub downtown called Brittney's. They played two one hour sets and offered up some tasty electric blues. Most of the songs were originals, but they included a fine rendition of Lucinda Williams "Drunken Angel" and a sizzling hot version of Janis Joplin's "Turtle Blues". She can usually be heard at Silky Sullivan's in Memphis, but is leaving to play in Los Angeles in the morning. If you ever have a chance to see her, GO! You won't be disapointed.
