Basf d-6075 integrated ***wow!!***
For all the integrateds lovers here is a real gem!!:thmbsp:
I purchased this unknown black amp years ago from eBay Germany for cheap money and stored it in the shelf having no time to give it a try. I recently opened the case and found out a real great piece of equipment: Alps pots, Rubycon electrolitycs, dual mono topology with power supply for each channel and a really rational layout as for wires and boards. After the usual cleaning operation I hooked it up to my Proacs: good dynamics and soundstage, tight basses, airy highs, a rigorous performance. No regrets even in comparison with modern amps, to tell it short. And it has a good phono section too!!
I've been lucky to accidentally put my hands on a full working unit but, if you find one of these amps around the web, I strongly recommend to catch it even if it needs any little reparation. It is worth the time and money you will spend. Anyway, be aware they were/are not so common therefore they are hard to find but usually sell for a few bucks.
Finally, I was told they were NECs AUA-8000E built by BASF for the European market and obtained excellent remarks and a solid 10/10 as for manufacture quality in a comparison between several integrateds in a 1978 Stereoplay issue.
