New to Linn TTs, and have not found much info on this question: What is the difference between the Linn Basik Plus tone arm and the Akito? Has anyone ever done a listening comparrison of these two arms?
I bought this TT (with a Basik Plus for $400, OK deal??) with a Grado G1 cartridge, and can't find much info on the cartridge either. Is it the same as the modern Gold 1 series? the marking does not look the same as what is sold today.
