Basketball: WNBA

Both did a great job of filling in for #22 in the Washington game. Today will be another highly anticipated sold-out exhibition game, and all Iowans are hoping Clark can play more than a few complimentary minutes in her home state. The team has a much different look this year and hopefully the results will be better.

Today's Caitlin's 36' shot, was awesome.

104-44 versus Brazil. Wasn't fair, but good for the others to play. Looking for the regular season to start!

WNBA is at least closer to real basketball than pro men's basketball. I can't watch the NBA as it's dribble, pass, Jack a 3 and run the other way. Double dribbling, palming the ball, jump stops, traveling, pushing, blocking, etc. It's morphed so much for me I never watch. College ball should be taken out of college as D1 teams are just semi pro feeding systems for the NBA and Euro ball.

I started paying attention to the WNBA when Eleana Delle Donne was playing for Chicago & then Washington - she was recruited by Connecticut, but after spending a week on campus, quit and moved back to Delaware, and enrolled at UD. Where she played her college bball... Won a WNBA Championship with Washington...!
She was quite good!

I never watched any basketball, but last year I got into the Indiana Fever women's team. It was crazy fun!
Today they won their first game. It's still off-season, but it was exciting! I'm a stoked!
Watched it myself! Started watching it last year with the arrival of CC and company. Hadn't watched it for years up to that point. But it's changed! Caitlin is knocking them down from 3 feet behind the arc and is threading the needle on her passes. Plus, the game has speeded up. A lot closer to NBA level. Very exciting now that my Celtics lost.

Aside from dropping buckets from all over the place, their defense did a great job! It was exciting!
