Beat up Marantz 2226b bias help

checked the bias pot

removed fro the board it adjusts between the center pin and both sides from 0ohms to 140ohms, is that close enough?

If the reading is smooth from 0 to 140, it should be ok. The bad ones I find either wont go to one of the extremes or the resistance jumps around as you move the trimmer. Measure across the two end pins to get the full resistance, and between an end and center to see how smoothly the resistance changes.
