Anyone know of a possible release date for the Beatles remasters vinyl in mono?

I was extremely disappointed by the bass and drum heavy digital sounding mess that was the vinyl stereo remasters and am only curious about the mono Pepper...

Anyone else here find the vinyl remasters disappointing?

and by the way, HELLO.. Im new here!!

I'll reply only to say: I've done some websurfing now and again to get an answer to just this question and have struck out.

Anybody?

I'm thinking the Mono box will be released in November. I'm very happy with the overall sound quality of the new stereo remasters. Without using limiting in the mastering process. The bass and drums(thanks to Sean Magee) are now heard in all of their glory.

Outside of some initial defective pressing issues on the remastered vinyl. The sound quality has been universally praised by most that have purchased them. I personally prefer them to the BC-13 box, now that I've compared the two. They have a nice full bodied sound IMO.

I have a new Stereo remaster of Abbey Road and aside from the minor non-fill surface noise, I find it to sound fantastic. I enjoy the fact that the bass is heavier, it gives it more of a warm sound. If I hadn't known where they were sourced from I would've guessed it was all analog.

The mono set is still a mystery I suppose. I want the mono Pepper and White Album the most, but I might end up having to purchase the whole box. Oh well, still worth it!

I also have heard mostly glowing praise for the remasters. The couple that I have heard sounded full, rich, very nice indeed. Now that the box has come down to in some places 299, I will be getting a stereo box for sure.

Variety had an interview with one of the Abbey Road people, who said sometime in 2014. Whether that's June (a rumor I've heard) or closer to Christmas (what I would usually expect, especially because of the stereo box), there was not any firm date given.

Currently I have 6 of the re-masters. In general I have had good luck after exchanging several warped presssings right after they were released. The enhanced bass is neither overwhelming or muddy sounding. IMO you can now listen to the bass lines and riffs, without having to listen for them. It is why I keep buying them. My copies of Rubber Soul and Revolver are in my box of 25 best quality records that I have. Both are clear, almost airy, precise and very ,very quiet vinyl. Would like to get the White Album in Mono a few months after it comes out.

I got the US Box right when it came out, and I was happy to find it free of the defects that so many others seem to have been plagued with. I was initially a little reluctant, because the original press release stated that the albums would come out on Mono sooner than they actually have. Now, i am glad I bought the stereo box. No matter what, I am really happy with the records and have gotten a lot of listening out of them. It's wonderful to have high quality versions of the LPs that play so silently. Being a child of the 80's, I can't afford the prices of early pressings in good quality. I have a couple choice albums, but otherwise it's mostly well-used, later era reissues. The remasters blow all of those out of the water. I know there were some problems at the start, but I've been very happy with the remasters.

That being said, I'm not sure if the monos will be offered separately or just in a box set. If one presumes that they'll follow the same pattern as the CD releases, the chances of getting individual albums will be very low. The mono box was an all-or-nothing affair. And let's be honest, the White Album is the one that most people are going to be after, so I imagine that many of those will go for a pretty penny on the 'bay if anyone decides to break up their set. However, the US Albums set was sold both as a box and as individual albums, so maybe there's luck yet.

I hope we get some actual information soon.
