Beatles sound Quality, purple,orange, ect

I got a Capital Red label of the Red Album from the 70's.
Sounds very clear and warm, hope the new replacements are as good.

I just wanted to report back on the new pressing purple Capitol Revolver.

Got a chance to hear it on a very good system (thanks Big Steve!). Flat as a pancake. Dead quiet. Sadly a bit bright...

FWIW, most of the solid state-cut UK Beatles albums ('70s & early-mid '80s pressings) are a bit forward-sounding too.

I got the White Album on Capital purple. It is way too bright and lack bass.
The Capitol red label was fine thought.
