Been Selling Stuff Lately...

This is not an ebay story or even a bad experience. I've been paring down my collection lately and been reminiscing about all the stuff that has gone to new homes. I'm trying very hard to suppress the regret feelings but I know it is for the better. This week has been tough, some of my former favorites are now playing for happy new owners. I'll feel better in a few days.

Today, I was auditioning speakers for a buddy who was looking for something and I was playing a variety of "budget" speakers. I made the mistake of playing my Yamaha NS-1000M's and NS-200M's for him. Listening to the budget stuff afterward made them sound like crud and we are talking about some nice ADS and Klipsch. Talk about blowing it. My buddy is thinking about Yamahas now.
