Belles 350A Amp

I'm looking into purchasing a Belles 350A amp as an upgrade to my Forte Model 3 amp. A question I'm trying to answer is if I will have any issues running the Belles on a 15 amp service? Does anyone have any experience with this amp - and if you do - do you have a 15 amp or 20 amp service? From what I've read, the later model 350a came with a "soft start" feature - perhaps that is what would allow the amp to start on a 15 amp service without causing any issues? I'd appreciate any input I can get on this question.

I'm sure this reply, being 16 years after your post, is way too late. I've been using a 350A Reference for, I don't know, maybe close to 20 years and it still sounds fantastic. It does suck up some current when you turn it on. Incandescent lights will dim momentarily. It's on a 20A breaker and I've never tripped one.

I wish I could find that amp. I have the Belles signature dual mono preamp (2025) and a OCM 200. Huge fan of Belles.

Nice collection of equipment there. Dave and I have been friends for over 50 years and I think he’s brilliant. When you disregard all the marketing hype out there,, the spaceship cosmetics and concentrate on listening, the Belles equipment really shines!
