I have a TEAC AD-1 purchased around 1990. It is a tape deck and CD combined unit. AD-3 Appears to have the same basic layout. It was kept at our vacation home, When we sold the house I kept it but did not put it back into service. I recently fetched down after more than 10 years sitting and no surprise the belts had failed. and with the exception to the motor to the flywheel they were just goo on the base plate. I have cleared that up but I can not figure out where the pulley is for the belt that will drive the tape counter. I assume it's driven by one of the spindles but if I have the other two belts right I see no where to connect the counter to spindles. After placing the one from the motor to the fly wheel and the fly wheel to what I think is the take up spindle there is no other pulley that I can see. Help!
