Speaking of belts, would anyone reccomend using a tighter belt? Because my turntable needs a new belt, and I know with a tighter belt, it will affect the speed, but it's also got speed control, for both 33 and 45. There's also other speed controls under the platter for both speeds, that you gotta adjust with a screwdriver.

And what about using different widths of belts? would that go over well?

But anyway, thanks to the OP for asking this question, because now I know were to get a new belt lol.. and I'm sure I can also search just with my model of turntable (Sanyo TP-1010).

A tighter belt may stress bearings, and create noise. Stick with OER. :nono:

Oh ok... my friend told me it would just screw up the speed, but i don't wanna screw my turntable, because I plan on keeping it as long as i can, and I'm sure it aint going belly up anytime soon.
