Recently I replaced my whole cartridge on my MCS 6502 tt to a AT91 and it's been playing great. The cartridge/stylus was in perfect condition and sounding really good. I even bought a shure scale to figure out my anti-skate settings and seems perfect at 2 grams with 2 anti-skate setting. On the MCS it's a half inch mount with only 2 holes for the screws and they cannot be slid forwards or backwards. They just stay where they are. So the other day (probably about 10 hours into the cartridge at this point) I notice the cantilever is slightly crooked to the right. I've taken good care of the whole cartridge. Bought a brush and carefully brushed it off every time and even dipped it on a magic eraser. Still was fine up to this point. I go to put another record on and I notice that it's bent/crooked, but is still playing fine. Maybe the platter is crooked somehow? Would anyone know why or how the cantilever got this way and if it's hurting my records? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
