Beogram 3404

I have in storage an old B & O Beogram 3404, one of the best looking turntables ever, I think. The problem with it is that sometimes (not all the time) when a record is played, the turntable comes on at 45 rpm when the control is set for 33. Is it in need of major repair or???....Mike

On the much older 3000 I have there was quite a bit of old grease in the mechanism causing issues of that sort when I got it, but I don't know of maybe such things are controlled electronically in yours perhaps?
