Hey, can anyone tell me - when using a PS2 wireless controller on a PS1 for CD play, is there a way to make it advance tracks? I have not figured out a way to do that. The "play" arrow will start the CD and "stop" will end it, but those are the only controls I can make work...?!? I like having the wireless capability but it's a little bit frustrating to have no way to skip ahead...
I use the button to the right, second column from bottom.
Experiment around, cause they're all mislabled, but fast forward, rewind, track advance, pause, play, are all there.

And I tried finding that OPPO DV-981HD for 50.....couldn't find a single one under 100.

I have to agree with you. The wally mart player kicks butt. It even has a digi out if you want to try another DAC arrangement. We have 2.
DAC's are getting cheaper by the day and very available for a change.
Other players may sound good but for price and function, wally mart Magnavox kicks butt.
