Best genre pioneer turntable match for sx980?

So i recently acquired a pioneer SX980 as well as a 780 and i am wanting to know what would be the best pairing of same period pioneer turntables to go with these receivers? And are they affordable or on the high end these days?

I don’t know when the 570s came out but I thought they were about the same time. And they’re going for ridiculous money I don’t wanna pay $1000 or more for a vintage turntable.

I’m leaning towards a 540 quartz if I remember right from reading various posts those are regarded as some of the better turntables from Pioneer I believe? And I think the 540 is reasonable in cost I can pick up at excellent excellent condition for around 500 bucks I just don’t know if that’s overpriced or not but I believe in chart you posted above that is also listed in the graph from 78.

I have a PL 540 I use with my SX980.
It is a really nice turntable.
Any of the turntables from the PL 5XX line would be a good choice.

Yeah that’s kind of the one I’m looking for but where I live there’s no thrift stores or anything that sell any of the vintage stuff like that and I’ve been told to stay away from them on eBay because even if you pack them as well as possible they somehow end up damaged even more so than shipping receivers Which I’ve had a couple of them show up damaged even when they were packed for Fort Knox so I don’t know where I would find one or whether I would have to gamble with eBay

Yea i have nothing really available where I’m at and there’s no equipment repair shops or anything like that within a four hour radius so it’s kinda eBay or Reverb or sites like that if I’m looking to purchase something unfortunately
