Best Match for an SA 8500?

[James__small]

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some nice suggestions for a pair of vintage speakers to match with a Pioneer SA 8500 which I've finally got my hands on a working one of after buying a dud one first time round.

What would you go with? I reckon my top budget is £400 & I've got a fairly small listening room, keen to hear thoughts about HPM 100's or HPM60 with this rig & anything else you might suggest?

Thanks!

Mine has matched up well with most everything I've thrown at it:yes: New Large Advents, KLH model 6 . Pioneer CS R700, Avid 103's & 102's:thmbsp:

Thanks Kydog. I don't know much about the Pioneer Cs series, will have to brush up, any super stars in that range?
