This is quite interesting,the seller today ask ne no need to change,just use the new series,they are better.

That is the real question.

I say "yes", if a) you prefer the VI looks and b) the correct EQ is included and c) they are short money.

Will they sound better? Yes. Will they be *a lot* better? No. If you need to spend what they are worth (+- $500), I'd pass.

They are perhaps the more rare version of the 901's. Little bit of upcharge for these when introduced. Started the new shape for the III version. I have a mint pair of them and think they sounded better than a pair of V's I had that were refoamed. Classic looks and think it was the best.

Those are the ones I have. Nice ensemble.

Those absolutely sick. Keepers...no question about it.
I love the chromed Tulip pedestals. My being an Epi fan, I hope to find and restore a pair of the 601/602 with the Tulips... Congrats on those 901s.. Fabulous. Just fabulous...

Go search for thulinn they have more fabulous design of the bose 901!!!

Hi,guys now I am using the Bose 901 series vi with all accessories,a and a guys offer me a series iv,I personally like the vintage design with wood colour,is it worth to change?the series IV had been refoam.a and in very good condition.

Bose has discontinued the 901's so the series VI will be the last incarnation so keep that in mind.
