Best place for Polyfill?

Over at the Bozak group the prevailing wisdom is that 100% cotton batting is the best material to use followed by wool.
Have there been any studies that include cotton vs wool vs polyfill vs fiberglass?

Polyester fill does indeed lower Fc, no doubt about it, and some brands are very close to fiberglass.

Adiabatic vs. Isothermal - look it up - this is the answer.

A bit late here! I did the testing 5-10 years ago and have no idea if the supplier changed
their formula, something to keep in mind. It seemed to be very fine and dense.
Morning Glory from Walmart worked best in my testing, other brands from there not so well:
