Hey Folks,

Just wanted to share my continued experience at a local record store in Frederick, MD. No connection/kickback other than being a pleased patron. Rock and Roll Graveyard is quite honestly the best record store I have ever been to. And I've been to stores all over the world (Italy, London, Barcelona, Canada and many in the lower 48). This tops the list by leaps and bounds. Chris and John run the store in a way that really shows that they are in it to get music and gear to people. It ain't a museum or some dude's private collection.

Check it out:

-Vinyl is priced to move. I mean really. Vintage jazz, reissues, rock, funk, soul, soundtracks, etc.
-8 Tracks for next to nothing (Every one is tested and new pads installed, seriously)
-Walls of cassettes!
-Racks of CDs.
-And......GEAR!!! I mean like turntables, cassette decks, amps, receivers, speakers, 8 Track players. Not crap either (They have Electrovoice, Kyocera, Sansui, Pioneer Elite, AR, Teac, Rotel and Thorens)! And get this.....Chris and crew guarantee the stuff. And... cassette decks have new belts if needed, TTs are brought up to snuff, speakers are given new surrounds etc. New gear is constantly coming in. It is literally an AK paradise.

If you are in the area, check it out. If you aren't local it is worth a road trip. We are so lucky to have this spot locally, I had to share it with AKers. Currently they have a ton of stuff!

Just had to give them some props! They are doing it right.

Been there. It is a nice store. I think the owner only plays music through vintage JBL speakers IIRC.
