Run Silent Run Deep: what a cast--Clark Gable, Burt Lancaster and Jack Warden and direction by Robert Wise.

The Enemy Below: Robert Mitchum shines but a weakness is the Cold War period introduction of a "good German"; the U-boat captain played by Curt Jurgens. His character would've been better had they canned the anti Nazi stuff and portrayed him as simply a cunning and dedicated sailor.

The Seas Beneath--1931 John Ford picture in which a Q-ship stalks a U-boat. Interesting for the use of the giant USS Nautilus in the movie.

No one mentioned Das Boot… a little drawn out but very dramatic. “Schneller! Schneller!”

As mentioned a few times, Das Boot is worth watching, especially the Directors Cut with DTS soundtrack; Epic!!!
