Best value binding posts

While I was recapping one of my AR TSW-710 crossover networks, I ended up snapping one of the binding posts. Apparently I didn't clean enough solder from the threads and my thread tap set was AWOL when I needed it.

So now I'm looking for new binding posts. Right now I'm not looking to get some hyper-expensive unobtanium binding posts, but I also don't want cheap parts either. What are some good "bang for the buck" posts? These Supras are just about the most expensive I will buy if that narrows things down any. I will need two pairs.

Check out some of the options from Parts Express and Monoprice--a lot cheaper than $55 and decent quality (as good as or better than what you removed).

Buy Pomona, professional grade used in all sorts of test equipment. Just Quality. If they can handle a minuscule test signal and a number of amps on the high end they should be perfect for speakers. The heck with the ones that 'show gold' just because. Well unless you need something like the $55 buck ones. or WBT.

In case others find this thread, I'll submit the Dayton Premium binding posts. http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.ph...n-premium-binding-post-pair-satin-nickel.html Pretty nice for $24/pair, although I got mine on sale for $18 or so. Solid and heavy, they are.

The Madisound Supra posts look like the ultra cheap style that's so ubiquitous from gear coming out of China, as seen on AliExpress and Alibaba. The clear plastic covers on the knobs, as well as the fine knurling beneath the plastic are the big give away.

This is what I use on speakers and amps. They accept banana plugs, wires and spades and the inside connection uses a set screw to clamp down on the bare wire so soldering is not necessary. Discard the plastic plate and you'll have seven pair of binding posts for $10.99.
