Best Vintage Preamp

They are in a bulk box of 200 tubes, not individual tube boxes, and I'm at work and do not have one of the tubes to take a picture of or look at in more depth.
Mine say 6DJ8 where the EI symbol is on your tubes with YUGOSLAVIA in smaller letters underneath.
I got these through one of my employers from Art Ferris. I don't think they had quite the perfect parameters for him to use in his retail products, but to me, they are just fine, but do require the tube coolers for longevity.

They are good tubes. If you bought them in the late 1990s or early 2000s, they are prolly Ei-made (and not counterfeits). Many Eastern European tubes (such as the great Tungsram) became widely available after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

I have no complaints, I do not know when Art purchased these tubes, but I have no complaints about their sound whether the preamp is driving my MC240, Dared DV-300B parallel 300B monos, ModWright KWA100se, Bottlehead Paramours, any of my little digital amps, or Adcom GFA555SE...

I haven't played vinyl in quite a while as I am afraid one of my three cats may take it upon themselves to try and get up on the "high perch" while the turntable is running...but I do have some of the low noise EH 6922s BNIB to put in the phono stage if necessary

A PSE Studio One would suit your needs well. Two MM phono inputs, adjustable shelving tone controls, and two main outs soyou can run subs without Y jacks. With both in stock form, I felt it bettered an Apt Holman, which is a pretty good preamp in its own right. They’re out there from time to time.
 
When it comes to phono playback curve accuracy, of mono and stereo eras, there is only one preamp that stands on top !
The most accurate vintage, stereo preamp was, and still is the Lafayette KT-600, particularly the brass faced version !

Sure miss mine.I don't think I've seen another version like mine with the block lettering on the front panel.

Just one word .... LUXMAN~! Tube or SS.

I've owned many of the preamplifiers in this thread and the Luxman tube preamp gets my vote for amazing build quality, great sound and it's way less than a 3rd the price of a Marantz 7C and less than a vintage Mac.
