Hey! I just inherited my father’s stereo equipment. I can find information on all the parts except the speakers. They have Beta Sound BO 904 & 905 on the back but I’m struggling to find anything about the company. I have found a couple of posts in here showing them and that they were made in Dallas but they are acting a little weird and I was hoping for some more information.

As indicated by some of the other threads here, they appear to be a copy of the Klipsch Heresy (a speaker that's been in production, in various iterations, for over 60 years). BO904/BO905 are the serial numbers, not the model number, and aren't particularly helpful here.
Can you expand on how they're "acting weird"? We don't need to be familiar with the manufacturer in order to help diagnose issues. It also might help to give us details on the rest of the components in your system, and how you have everything connected.

So by acting weird, I mean that to get the speakers to start working you have to turn the amp up pretty high and then you can readjust it down. I finally got one of the speakers and all the other components moved down to where I live, and while the speaker is working it is very soft and far away sounding. I’m not sure what I have done wrong, but it almost seems like the connection is weak. But it looks like everything is fully connected. I guess I will need to wait for the other one to get down here to see what happens with them both plugged in.

We sold Beta speakers from 76 to around 82 as I remember. But I don't remember this model. They used the same drivers that Paul Klipsch used but the horn for the midrange was different. They also had a very long 3 segment port that you could tune to your room. The chief engineer at work sold his A-7's and bought a pair of the largest Betas in 76. I liked them and they worked well in his corners.
I haven’t tried them with any other speakers, I wouldn’t even know where to buy another set like this.

Might be dirty controls or an improper setting, like tape monitor engaged.

Whats that thing inside the round recess above the speaker terminals? Some sort of circuit breaker? Maybe it's faulty?

I have a pair of the old Beta Sound SST-100's. Have had them sitting in my storage for a good while along with a pair of North American Sound Studio Monitors (Both made in Dallas, Texas). Finally had an opportunity to a/b the two sets. I was blown away with the purity of sound from the NAS Studio Monitors however when comparing them to the Beta SST-100, the Beta's lacked the clarity. Wondering if new crossovers would be the ticket to getting an improved sound out of the Beta's. Looking for recommendations as to how to proceed with bringing the Beta's back to life. The foam grills were detiorated but I managed to get the badges off of them.

Yep the tweeters are working. The small ones look identical to the North American Sound studio monitors and my Klipsch Heresy's. The mid horn is a different make but they too are producing sound. I'm gonna have to pull the backs off to get a good look at what brand the mid horns may be. I think I read somewhere that they were atlas brand but I have not verified that yet.
