Bi-wiring - am I doing it right?
I've got my system set up with the in-wall 4 conductor speaker cable teminating at the wall plate with 2 conductors twisted together at each terminal post. On the outside I've got the same 4 conductor wire attached with 2 conductors to each terminal post and then I've split the condcutors to the bi-wire configuration on the speakers, ie. one conductor to each of the 4 binding posts and the jumper removed. My question is, will this accomplish anything soncially as bi-wiring is supposed to do? I think it did but am I hearing things? In other words, does the "math" work here given that the cable from the recevier to the wall plate is about 15' and from the wall plate to speaker it's 6-10'?
