Biamp kappa8

Hi everyone. I finally restored my kappa 8s and I have to say they sound great. The chain is composed as follows: pc dac:audio gd R27 pre: rgr model4 amp:amcron psa2 I noticed that by activating the switch on the back, to bypass the resistance in series with the woofer, the mid-high frequencies get mixed up a bit. can you confirm the feeling? Has something similar ever happened to you? that's why I was thinking about bi amplifying and the candidates I'm thinking about would be : Amcron dc300 series 2 Audible illusions S 120, perhaps also in association with its tube preamp (the sound of the tubes intrigues me). Thanks for your attention

Hi everyone. I resume the post to go back to asking for your help.
I have a pair of Infinity Kappa 8's which I amplify with an AMCRON PSA2.
I would like to try bi-amplification leaving the AMCRON PSA2 on the woofers and using another amplifier for the mid-highs. I was thinking of a McCormack DNA-1 or an AUDIBLE ILLUSIONS s120.

Do you have experience with these two amps or can you suggest me someone better in your opinion?

Thank you
