Good Lord that's a cheap price for those considering what they've been going for!!!! Wow.... I hope someone down in FL has the means for snagging them if they look as good in person as they do in the pics!

How much have they been going for? My initial reaction was that it was a fair price.

I thought the low end was around $700. Those will probably need the refoam job if not done recently. Those woofers are not easy to come by either. I just got my woofers reconed and back installed less than a week ago and these speakers have an airy sound to them compared to many sets of speakers I have. I would jump on them for that price if I was local. Can't imagine what 4 of them would sound like besides a rock festival.

Those are some GREATTT sounding speakers, just make sure you get the equalizer with them

Hmm, I wonder if the seller has the EQ since it was optional IIRC.

I have the Seq box that goes with them - cost me like $40 on Fleabay. The Sentry D series box works with these speakers as well and I bought one NIB never opened off Ebay for a song.. $9 or something like that and the seller had 3 of them up for sale when I got mine. Point is, if you are patient and keep a look out - you can find a Seq box that will work with these speakers. That price is good. I'd be all over that if I lived in Fla. Be prepared to load those bad boys with a strong friend. They weigh in at around 150#s a piece, are big and bulky and hard to carry.

You were damn lucky to find them then, a friend just had same thing built at 180.00 but they were exact copies of the originals with a little modern modification done for more versatility

And yes i agree, those damn thing are hernia material, if you don't own a dolly. lol next to the Altec model 19 there's not much differense in size or girth.

I got my EQ last year brand new from a dealer of studio equipment for $49.
