Looks like it was property of a church, probably reasonably well kept but who knows about maintenance of the amp.

Worth a shot though since they're pretty far and few between.

Shipping will be an issue unless you can pick up. Better check the shocks and springs in the back of the car though!

It's that nice eh - and I passed one up recently for $450 asking price in nice cosmetic and working condition :sigh:

$450? Yow -- next one you see at that price, grab it. That series of amps are killer-built; I had the 4002s, nothing but power, power...

I didn't know anything about it at the time, and I had enough amps to unload at the time.

Now on a lower scale I'm guessing it's little brother, I see local a Yamaha P-2200 Pro for sale for $250. The looks are similar but it's 240wpc (he says).
Been sitting since the 8th though.

I unloaded my other amps (last was M-510 & M-80 same day) because I'm happy with my tube amps - using a 2A3 tube amp at about 3.5wpc does what I need.

gosh i want one of those again. for a set of inefficient speakers, it's very hard to do better than that amp for the money, even at twice this price.
