Das ist richtig.

:drool::drool::drool:

Biggest speaker regret was passing up a pair of RSIb's for a grand when I had just started back into vintage.

No way would I spend a $1000 on speakers.....:tears:

Sprechen sie Deutch? No.

Anybody want to make a "capital investment" in a fellow AK'er's system?

:D

If anyone checks these out, be careful - it looks like they have taken off the diffraction wings from the mid/high towers. Not sure what that would do to the sound, but it would probably tend to make the towers less stable (and also reduce resale value). Still, the whole package for $1,800 is definitely worth pursuing.

ah, that's the real reason they looked funny to me.

Gott in himmel.Warum haben wir zu lesen Spezifikationen in Deutsch?! :scratch2:

A little more than a year or so ago I found a pair of RS-1s for sale on the Phoenix CL for $500 (yes)!! No way could I convince the guy to ship them. What was interesting was that they did not sell right away and that I was able to exchange a series of emails with the seller.

Finally a local showed up to buy them. I was almost ready to buy a one way airplane ticket to Phoenix and rent a truck to drive them back to Virginny.....

that would have been quite an adventure. unfortunately for me, it also would've been a one-way ticket to a divorce. :yes:

Yea that was probably a non-starter. But I could have said "honey look at all the money I am saving..."!

Heard back from the seller today, he just confirmed that they are RS-1's, nothing else...:dunno:
