Bit of grillin' today

the charcoal is supposed to go ontop of that grill. the box below is for the ashes. That will get you your heat.

I liked what I saw !

Sooo....off to the local chain store...T-bone steaks $6.97 a lb.:scratch2:
I picked out a nice one and grilled it over some lump hard wood charcoal coals.
3 minutes on one side..flip cover...couple minutes...perfect !!
I ate it just like that with a very small amount of fresh ground sea salt.

I know it's considered sacrilege, but my wife and I have really taken to a steak coated in some of this.. took me a bit to get past the thought of putting it on, but my wife talked me into it and I'll be damned if now a steak don't taste near as good without it..

.....I love to grill steaks that have soaked in Italian dressing for at least 24 hours, in a bag, in the icebox....yes, Italian dressing like you put on a lettuce-based salad....for grilled hamburgers, I also like to sprinkle some Italian dressing on shaves of lettuce, mix it well, and put some on my hamburger.....
